BBC Children in Need

Do you thing for BBC Children in Need

We have worked with the BBC for the last three years on their famous Children in Need Charity event. Over this time we have developed the Children in Need fundraising packs into a fully bilingual offer. This has allowed Welsh speakers the opportunity to get involved in fundraising activities as well. The challenge of this work has been to try and create an equal presence for both languages throughout the various communications which include everything from brochures to posters to letters and fundraising forms.

This bilingual design work goes alongside our other bilingual design projects with other companies such as Network Rail and Youth Hostel Association.

About Pudsey Bear

About Pudsey Bear

Pudsey Bear made his television debut in 1985 when Terry introduced the new, brown cuddly mascot to the audience. He was designed by Joanna Ball, a BBC graphics designer, who named him after the West Yorkshire town where she was born. He proved very popular and returned as BBC Children in Need's official logo the following year with his design amended to that of a yellow bear with a red spotted bandage.
